Thank you for being open enough to share these numbers.
To be honest I'm astounded that you earned so much in your first year alone. How on earth did you get that amount of money starting from scratch? That's the big question!
It's actually the second year as I noted in the video. The first year was about half of that - I realised after writing this that we didn't use QuickBooks for the first year. Sorry!
Well, even the second year! I’m not sure if you’re able to share it, but the story behind how you launched and got first clients would be useful to hear :-)
I do have something written about that. I'm a little nervous about these things starting to become a vanity exercise. But maybe I'll publish in a few weeks.
I can understand your reservations, although I have to say, such stories are the things that are always missing from books on consulting, and yet I would assume are highly valuable insights
Fair enough, I might publish something on it. I had a half-written post a while ago. I'm just not sure there's anything to learn from it - which is what I prefer to cover in these posts.
I appreciate that you may not think there is anything to learn from it, but for me, I'm aching to to know what is different about your journey compared to mine (or others)
Also, I hope this al becomes a book one day?
If of interest, I have a list of topics I'd love to hear about from someone like you
